Dr. Sezin Baysal Berkup, with over 14 years of professional experience in Communication and Public Relations, leads projects in areas such as Sustainability, Sustainable Development, Sustainable Development and Communication, Sustainable Development and Technology, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Sustainability and Corporate Identity, Generations and Generational Studies, Political Communication, Sustainability Consultancy, and Social Media Consultancy.

She has authored articles, book chapters, and academic studies on sustainability, sustainable development, GRI standards, and the BIST25 Sustainability Index, which have been published in international academic journals.

Dr. Sezin Baysal Berkup has extensive experience in establishing Sustainability Management Systems, developing sustainability strategies and roadmaps, sustainability reporting, materiality studies, and providing sustainability training across various sectors, with a particular focus on Energy, Cement, Mining, and Building Materials. In the area of social compliance, she has expertise in implementing social compliance and responsibility systems, as well as conducting foundational social compliance training.

She is an active lecturer at universities, government agencies, and NGOs in her areas of expertise. Dr. Berkup holds Sustainability Reporting Expertise, Sustainability Communication Expertise, SDG Reporting Expertise, and TCFD Reporting Expertise certifications from internationally recognized training bodies.

Additionally, she is a GRI Certified Reporting Expert and FSA Level I Candidate, with certification in Sustainability Reporting Expertise with GRI Standards from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).

As the Türkiye Coordinator for Earth Academy, she oversees the sustainability training programs provided by Earth Academy Global.
