Ahmet EDEPLİ, with over 10 years of experience in environmental risk management, primarily focuses on climate change. He actively manages emissions through workshops with project teams formed within the institution, working on the development and reporting of greenhouse gas inventories to create climate policies for organizations.

He manages emission-related activities in sectors such as aluminum, iron and steel, paper, chemicals, logistics, and energy.

In the energy field, Ahmet works on system installations within the framework of ISO 50001, and he also oversees the planning of energy baselines and energy performance indicators.

In addition to conducting agenda assessments for Türkiye’s upcoming greenhouse gas emission trading system, he serves as a Lead Verifier and Technical Expert both in Türkiye and for a verifier organization appointed within the European Union. He is also responsible for carrying out accreditation activities related to verification processes.

Ahmet EDEPLİ conducts studies on life cycle analysis and emissions management using Simapro 9.5 software, ensuring that his reports align with ISO 14040/14044 and ISO 14067 standards. He also undertakes accreditation studies for product certification and provides accreditation consultancy.

Mr. EDEPLİ offers solutions to companies involved in the MRV (Measurement, Reporting, and Verification) system within the scope of greenhouse gas emissions management. He collaborates with non-governmental organizations, associations, and Exporters’ Associations on the carbon regulation mechanism at the border. In this context, he conducts training sessions on greenhouse gas management, energy management, and environmental management.
