Ergül GÜNGÖR is a Chemical Engineer from Middle East Technical University (METU), who founded COECO Danışmanlık Ltd. with the motto “Collaboration for Ecosystem.” With over 22 years of experience, she has worked in the metal processing and billboard, textile fabric production, building materials, food, and ice cream production sectors. She has held both practitioner and managerial roles in international and national private companies. She has experience and certifications in areas such as CDP Carbon Disclosure Reporting, sustainability projects, customer and third-party audits, EPD (Environmental Product Declarations), LCA (Life Cycle Analyses), organizational life cycle assessments, and the establishment, calculation, and implementation of management systems such as ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 10002, 50001, and 22001. She has also managed technical product certification systems including CE, GOTS, GRS, and RWS, and handled organic recycling systems. Additionally, she has expertise in ensuring technical compliance and audits in line with customer requirements, as well as in Chemical Management Systems. Her experience spans companies such as Unilever, Algida, Günal Aluminyum, AKG Gazbeton, and Sun Tekstil.

Ergül GÜNGÖR contributed to the Environmental Footprint Software Project in collaboration with the London-based Carbon Trust Standardization and Certification Organization on behalf of the sector. Her experience includes serving as a Kalder EFQM European Excellence Award Evaluator, ZDHC Chemical Management Expert, and conducting HIGG, Inditex, Decathlon, and Target audits for the textile industry.

Through her extensive experience and training, she provides consultancy and training services in areas such as sustainability roadmaps and reporting, ISO management systems, product technical approvals (GOTS, OCS, GRS, RWS, TSE, CE, NF, etc.), and chemical management system implementation, all with a focus on creating shared value in a business partnership framework.
